4. When did you discover Pink Chicken? This year over mid-winter break in February, we went on vacation to Vero Beach and wandered into a darling little shop called Lily Pad. That’s where I picked out my first Pink Chicken dress. Then I picked out my second and my third :) I had such a great time on the vacation with my family and Pink Chicken was definitely a highlight – it’s an experience I think I’ll always remember.

5. Favorite Pink Chicken piece you own?  My parents met a long, long time ago when they both worked at a movie theater. So – even though I wasn’t around yet (obviously) when I saw the Adaline Dress, Popcorn Print, I immediately felt a connection. I’m going to wear it for my 7th birthday and I can’t wait.

6. Favorite piece from the Spring ’23 Collection? It’s definitely the Courtney Dress, Lavender Stem Floral print. Yellow is my second-favorite color (after pink, of course) and I love how bright and vibrant it is. It just makes me feel happy to wear it.

allie7. Why do you continue to shop Pink Chicken? How do you feel when you are wearing Pink Chicken? I love that Pink Chicken has very unique prints that are fun and whimsical. I feel very special in all the pieces.

8. Feelings on being featured as our Spring '23 Flock Star?! I feel so special to be featured in clothes that make me feel extra pretty.

9. How do you and your family like to spend a typical weekend in Detroit? Most weekends, we like to go to the park, then get ice cream, have a Friday night movie night. I also love going up to the lake where I take big jumps off the dock, play croquet with Grandma and Grandpa, and make s’mores by the fire.

10. Tell us about some favorite sights & attractions in your city? I spend time at the Detroit Zoo where I like to feed the giraffes, visit Greenfield Village on Halloween where I ride the train and see the headless horseman, and go to Detroit Tigers games where I ride the carousel. I also like going downtown to see shows like Lion King, Aladdin, and Charlie Brown, and going ice skating at Campus Martius Park.

11. What are your favorite Springtime activities or traditions that you look forward to? Riding my bike and watching the flowers bloom. Every Spring we travel to nearby Holland, MI for the Tulip Festival. I love seeing all the different colored flowers decorating the whole city, especially the pink and yellow ones, and settling down in the park for a picnic.
