Cali baby! Santa Monica store opening!!!

As Randy Newman famously sang, “I Love LA!” What’s not to love? Sun kissed skin year-round, beach play dates afterschool (in February!), warm Pacific breezes, towering palm trees, low-key chic style, The Grove, citrus trees in your backyard, Neutra houses! With all-that going on why did we wait until now to open a store? That’s right, we are incredibly excited to announce the opening of our third brick and mortar store in Cali baby! Santa Monica is the perfect neighborhood for our first SoCal outpost. We adore how its quaint small town charm (kind of like Amagansett) fits perfectly with our Pink Chicken philosophy of easy breezy dressing that is no fuss and always stylish . . . did we mention we’re just a few steps from the beach? :) Collaborating with Los Angeles designer Gavin Brodin challenged us to think outside of our East Coast framework. The new store exudes a calm, chic beach vibe just like my summer house in Amagansett in the Hamptons. Those of you who follow us on Instagram will notice a resemblance to our kitchen at the beach… Robin’s egg blue details, white cabinets, and ocean photos from one of our favorite photographers, Isack Kousnsky, highlight the gorgeous new space. The dressing rooms are even papered with the same wallpaper from our powder room in Amagansett. (I also used it in my daughter’s new NYC bedroom, kind obsessed. Thanks Galbraith and Paul!)
